Caroline Dubois has long been targeting world title unification against Terri Harper: 'There's so much on the line!'

Caroline Dubois has finally got the fight she has been waiting for after her lightweight world title unification bout with Terri Harper was confirmed.

Londoner Dubois, a Tokyo Olympian, is the WBC lightweight world champion and a rising star on the British boxing scene.

Harper from Doncaster is a more seasoned professional and has already had a stellar career, winning world titles at the three different weights. She is the reigning WBO champion at 135lb.

After a simmering rivalry, Dubois will take on Harper at Olympia in London on Sunday April 5, live on Your Site.

Dubois told Your Site: "I've been calling out Terri for a while now before this fight. We were supposed to fight at the Royal Albert Hall [last year]. So there was always a fight in my mind, in my mind's eye and the timing has been good.

"I think it's worked out because now we're here and we're involved in a massive fight. The first MVP has brought to the UK and it's a great fight to have with me and her."

Dubois has stormed through the professional ranks. In 2024 she dropped and outclassed Maria Moneo to win the WBC interim strap. That was upgraded to the full world championship when Katie Taylor vacated the belt.

She defended her championship when she dominated Jessica Camara, who escaped with a technical draw after a clash of heads in the third round.

In another good performance Dubois beat Bo Mi Re Shin at the Albert Hall last March and recently boxed on the undercard of Anthony Joshua versus Jake Paul, handing Camilla Panatta a wide points defeat.

Harper has packed a vast amount of experience into her 20-bout professional career. She first became a world champion at super-featherweight in 2020 and drew with Natasha Jonas when they clashed later that year.

She lost the WBC super-featherweight belt to Alycia Baumgardner. Harper moved up to super-welterweight and beat Hannah Rankin to win the WBA championship. She defended that title against former world champion Ivana Habazin and drew with boxing legend Cecilia Braekhus.

She became a three-weight world champion when she beat Rhiannon Dixon to collect the WBO lightweight title.

"I'm really excited. I think she's an established name. A solid fighter. But I think I've more than whatever she has. I think I have more to bring to the table in terms of skill, ability, talent, power," Dubois insisted.

"It's a huge name. What better showcase to have and it shows the value that MVP view me as and I'm so happy to be on that level. I've had so few fights, only 13 now. This will be the 13th. I'm still very early in my career. Another big fight. So much on the line.

"A unification and big one."

On the same April 5 Your Site bill at Olympia, Catford's Ellie Scotney will be looking to make history. She fights Mayelli Flores and victory would see Scotney become Britain's youngest undisputed champion ever in the four-belt era.

"It still hasn't hit home. I'm so grateful for the opportunity and I'm ready to go," Scotney told Your Site News. "I know she's coming for, like I am, all the marbles, so it's the biggest stakes and I know it's my hardest opponent in front of me."

She added: "I think my nose gives away my style to be honest! I get hit a little too often! All action and I'm from south London and I think I represent that in the ring too.

"All eyes on becoming undisputed at super-bantamweight and then, God willing, I'll be moving up to continue that journey."

Watch Dubois vs Harper and Scotney vs Flores live on Your Site on Sunday April 5.
